"Zi On Kerk, from Malaysia, was last seen as he pushed a woman towards rescuers on rocks at Honeymoon Bay on Moreton Island off south-east Queensland on Wednesday.
The woman was pulled to safety but Zi On was swept out of reach of his would-be rescuers.
Police said the pair had been with a group of students from the University of Queensland when they went swimming in a treacherous rip at the bay." Brisbane Times.
